Nigerian Christian are being massacred. The Gaza and Ukrainian conflicts feel never ending. How will we be impacted by U.S. tariffs? There are a lot of issues that we could focus our attention on. James, a valued source of information and material for me, fled Goma with his family. Violence followed him into Burundi. Foundational to a functioning society is physical security and the rule of law, both tragically missing from Congo.

ADF terrorists attacked the Byambwe Reference Health Center, located on the Butembo-Mangurejipa road (Lubero territory), between 10:00 PM on Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th, 2025. According to local sources, 17 patients were executed, including several women who had just given birth at the maternity ward. Medicines were looted and houses were burned. Several live babies were left on the beds after the massacre of their mothers.
