The timing couldn’t have been much worse. Just as the school year was set to begin, a storm has destroyed the school for orphans run by Dorcas Mbambu. Wind tore away roofs and severe rain has washed away much of the ground support.
These are clearly trying times and they need our support. It is incredible to realize what the people in eastern Congolese have experienced but it’s encouraging to know and watch their resilience.

Bens in Congo
Hi. Thank-you for your interest! We can only really support them by prayer and by money. I wire transfer USD funds to them via Western Union, but you could too, as they are virtually everywhere. Using Western Union, send funds of any amount to the DRC and Dorcas Mbambu Kiharami. The fee is nominal. They will give you a MTCN code. (Money Transfer Control Code). Only someone with that matching name (with ID) and MTCN will be able to pick up the money. E-mail me at michael.ben@rogers.com so you can tell me the MTCN code (which I will forward) or I will give you Dorcas’ email so you can contact her directly.
